Sewer Scope Inspection

A sewer scope inspection evaluates the main underground sewer line using a specialized camera system. Because sewer lines are buried and not visible during a standard home inspection, problems can exist without obvious warning signs.

Our inspectors insert a high-resolution camera through an accessible cleanout or roof vent to visually assess the condition of the sewer line from the home to the municipal connection or septic system. This inspection can help identify issues such as blockages, root intrusion, cracks, offsets, or deteriorated piping.

A sewer scope inspection is especially recommended for older homes, properties with
large trees, or homes without a clear sewer maintenance history. Identifying sewer line concerns early can help avoid unexpected repairs and costly disruptions after closing.
